After 10 years of residential and commercial experience, Shawn decided to start his own practice focused on serving both residential and commercial customers. His hard work and dedication to quality service has carried Elite Electric KC to the top of the greater Kansas City electrical contractor marketplace. Shawn is a Block and Associate Master Electrician. This title is awarded upon the completion of a proctored exam and all jurisdictions must honor this accomplishment. Our electricians also follow the National Electrical Code® (NEC). This is the most widely adopted Code in the nation. Approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), the NEC is the most complete set of electrical Code requirements that govern electrical installations in the interest of safety for persons and property. Knowledge of the NEC is an inherent part of doing business in the electrical industry.
